Biography:

Uruk-hai are a powerful breed of Orc in J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth. They first appear in *The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers*, specifically bred by Saruman in Isengard and by Sauron in Mordor.

Unlike common Orcs, Uruk-hai are larger, stronger, and able to withstand sunlight to a greater degree. This makes them superior warriors, more disciplined, and a formidable fighting force in the service of their dark masters. Saruman's Uruk-hai are distinguished by the White Hand symbol, marking them as his soldiers.

Their creation marks a significant escalation in the war against the Free Peoples, representing a more potent and organized threat than traditional Orcish hordes. They played a key role in battles such as the Battle of Helm's Deep, demonstrating their effectiveness in large-scale warfare.
